HNLU Signs MoU with National Chi Nan University of Taiwan

The MoU was signed by and on 6 May 2026 at the NCNU campus in Taiwan.

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) of Raipur has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Chi Nan University of Taiwan to strengthen academic and research cooperation between the two institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU stated that the MoU would facilitate collaboration between the two institutions in interdisciplinary areas and further strengthen academic and bilateral relations between India and Taiwan.

Dr. Dong-sing Wuu, President of the National Chi Nan University, an electrical engineer by background, expressed his happiness at signing an MoU with a National Law University of India and hoped that the partnership would lead to greater cooperation in disciplines interfacing with law and technology.

The MoU seeks to facilitate:

  • Collaborative research initiatives and academic exchange;

  • Joint conferences, seminars, and workshops;

  • Faculty and student mobility programmes;

  • Cross-border academic partnerships; and

  • Opportunities for interdisciplinary and comparative research.

The collaboration marks another important step in HNLU’s ongoing efforts to expand its global academic footprint and build meaningful international partnerships aligned with contemporary research and educational priorities.

About HNLU

Established in 2003, Hidayatullah National Law University is located at Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on a sprawling 65-acre eco-friendly campus. The University is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
