Over the last two years, we have built a network of Campus Ambassadors across more than fifty law schools all over India. These law students have been providing us with information on campus events and activities, and also sharing legal articles.

This series of interviews is meant to turn the spotlight on these hardworking and dedicated individuals.

In this edition, we speak with Gaurav Vardhan, a fourth-year law student at Delhi Metropolitan Education.

Why did you choose to study law?

During my school days I was a science student but I had huge interest & curiosity with the subjects of social studies, law came as a perfect escape for me from the entangled junctions of science and fiction to the place I wanted to.

I strongly believe when you develop passion for your profession it’s remarkable, but when you make your profession your passion it’s perfect and that’s how I choose to study law.

What made you apply for the Campus Ambassador post at Bar & Bench?

Bar and Bench always cornered my most viewed and recent app dialogue in my mobile phone during my initial days of law school. Keeping in mind the current times of multiple social media handles, it is indeed a place where you have good quality legal news not just for law students but also people from various backgrounds can explore it.

What are your plans after completing law?

I want to serve the legal fraternity in the best possible role I can fit in. To begin with I have planned to complete my Masters first and lately join Judicial Services for the state of Uttarakhand, which is my home state.
