Legal Hackathon: “National Business Plan Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal Startups” (Register by 2 Oct)

School of Law, Forensic Justice& Policy Studies, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar in association with Legal start-ups is organising a Legal Hackathon a “National Business Plan Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal start-ups”.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Legal field has been facing various challenges for the last few decades especially in terms of pendency of cases and complex legal compliance. To address these situations, we need to come up with innovative mechanisms, plausible solutions and initiatives in the said field. Thus, innovation and start-ups in the legal field are the way forward. In this regard, many start-ups initiated by the young minds can be seen emerging in the legal field in last few years. Further, Ministries, Government Departments /bodies have also initiated various innovative schemes for serving the people at large.

To promote and support various ideas related to law and allied field, we at School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar in association with Legal start-ups have organized a unique State -Level Business Plan Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal start-ups. We appeal and encourage young generation to present their proposed start-ups idea in the competition.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To promote legal start-ups.

  2. To motivate students, identify their own prospects in legal field.

  3. To provide all possible support required to set up legal start-ups.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration with Google form by October 2nd, 2022.

Registration fee is applicable for selected teams.

Teams are required to pay a registration fee of ₹1000 after selection.

AWARDS & CERTIFICATION

  • Winner Cash Prize of ₹25,000, Memento & Certificate of Merit

  • First Runner Up Cash Prize of ₹15,000, Memento & Certificate of Merit

  • Second Runner Up Cash Prize of ₹10,000, Memento & Certificate of Merit

Note: All the entries will be given certificate of participation.
