Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) Sonipat won the final global round of the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot, 2024 held from November 1-4 at Humboldt University, Berlin.

The moot was hosted by the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS). This year’s problem focused on an arbitration involving countries whose satellites had collided in outer space.

The winning team comprised Jianna Bajaj, Kashvi Choudhury, Shuban Sheth, Kailash Srinivasan and Anisha Kedia.

JGLS defeated another Indian team, Christ University, in the final after beating a team from Ukraine and a team from Indonesia in the semi-final and the quarter-final respectively.

JGLS competed against 50 teams that participated in the global round. Hidyatullah National Law University was another Indian participant that reached the Semi-Finals and was ranked 4th in the Global Rounds.
