Jindal Global Law School wins SLAM Moot Competition 2023

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) with a team consisting of Shuban Sheth and Kaushiki Singh has become the first Asian team to win the Sports Law Arbitration Moot 2023 at Laussane, Switzerland.

The Sports Law Arbitration Moot 2023 was organised by LawInSport and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS). The distinguished Panel members in the Semi-finals and Finals were Michael Beloff, Martina Spreitzer-Kropiunik, Mark Hovell, Stephen Townley, Jeffrey Benz, Frans de Weger and Ricardo de Buen.

In their road to the finals, the JGLS team beat the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata in the Pre-quarter finals, the University of Nairobi in the Quarter Finals, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) in the Semi-Finals.
