MNLU Mumbai wins 5th NALSAR CCI Antitrust Moot

NLU Jodhpur emerged as the runners-up.

Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) has won the 5th edition of the NALSAR-CCI Antitrust Moot Court Competition 2026.

The team comprised Rachita Bohara, Mugdha Mohanty and Varuni Savanur.

Varuni Savanur won the Best Researcher award.

Mugdha Mohanty was awarded Best Speaker in the Final rounds.

The team from National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU Jodhpur) comprising Vagish Kotecha, Karlo Cruz and Taru Jhunjhunwala emerged as the runners-up team.

Anjika Das from Symbiosis Law School, Pune won the Best Speaker award.

The team from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi comprising Asma Mohamed Haris, Anasuya Suresh and Bhama S Raju won the Best Memorandum (Informants) award.

The team from Jindal Global Law School comprising Lareina Leo, Tia Singh and Sia Sethi won the Best Memorandum (Opposite Party) award.

This year's moot problem centred on anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, no-poach in labour markets and procedural aspects.

Participants handled issues of vertical restraints like selective licensing, supply commitments and territory apportionment favouring affiliates, alongside horizontal elements in a 'no-poach' protocol.
