NLIU Bhopal wins XIV Justice T Ramachandran Memorial moot

NUALS, Kochi were the runners-up team.

The team from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal has won the Justice T Ramachandran Memorial XIV All India National Moot Court Competition, 2025-26 organised by Government Law College, Thrissur.

The NLIU team comprised Gauri Singh, Vaishnavi Tomar and SR Swami Meganathan. Vaishnavi Tomar also won the Best Student Advocate award.

The runners-up team from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS Kochi) comprised oDaniel Lijo, Theertha Das and Anagha V Menon. Daniel Lijo also won the Best Male Student Advocate award.

The Best Memorial award was awarded to Devarsh K, Manya S Kurup and Neethu Maria Abraham from Mar Gregorios College of Law. Neethu Maria Abraham also won the Best Researched award.

Brindalakshmi N from Sastra University won the Best Female Student Advocate award.

This year's moot problem dealt with a dispute of the timing of electoral roll revision between a state government and the election commission.
