NLU Delhi wins WIPO IP moot

University of Mumbai Law Academy finished as runners-up.

A team from National Law University, Delhi has won the First World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) IP Moot Court Competition 2024-25.

The NLU Delhi team comprised Preeti Jangra and Rishaan Gupta. The team has also won the award for Best Memorial and Rishaan Gupta has been awarded the Third Best Oralist award.

University of Mumbai Law Academy finished as runners-up. The team comprised Sanskriti Sharma and Arya Gautam.

The final round was held at Geneva on April 25.

The competition problem dealt with generative Artificial Intelligence and its intersection with copyright law along with an emphasis on copyright law governing non-fungible tokens.
