NLU Jodhpur wins 20th LAWASIA Moot Court Competition

The team also won the Spirit of LAWASIA award.

A team from National Law University Jodhpur (NLU Jodhpur) has won the 20th LAWASIA Moot Court Competition held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The team comprised Ansh Arora, Paavni Kaur Mago and Bianca Bhardwaj.

They competed against Hanoi Law University in the final rounds. The team has also won the Spirit of LAWASIA award.

OP Jindal Global Law School was the other Indian team participating this year.

The moot problem addressed procedural issues of sovereign immunity in arbitration and enforceability of pre-arbitral negotiation steps. It also included concerns of labour law violations, forced labour and questions of fundamental breach and agency under the UNIDROIT Principles.
