Symbiosis Noida wins NLSIU-NHRC Moot Court Competition

The NLSIU NHRC Moot Court Competition was held from January 3-5, 2025, with 99 teams participating from across India.

A team from Symbiosis Law School, Noida won the 1st National Law School of India University (NLSIU)-National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Moot Court Competition.

The competition was jointly organised by the NHRC Chair at NLSIU and the NHRC. It was conducted at NLSIU, Bengaluru on January 3-5, 2025.

School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai were the runners-up.

The final round of the competition was presided over by Member, NHRC, Vijaya Bharathi Sayani, Justice (Retd) P Krishna Bhat, and NHRC Chair on Human Rights, NLSIU, Dr. Sanjay Jain.

Ashwad Dhinakaran from School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai was awarded Best Speaker. Best Memorial was awarded to Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
