NLU Odisha Quarter-Finalists in Willem C. Vis World Rounds 2021

Bar & Bench

The National Law University, Odisha team, comprising Ananya Satish, Darshit Siddhabhatti, Priyank Shukla, Rithika Mathur, Shaivi Shah, and Yashvardhan Singh have been adjudged as the Quarter-finalists of the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Vienna, 2021.

The team made it to the top 8 out of the 387 teams participating in the World Rounds, making it to be the best performance of NLUO at this moot, so far.

Moreover, the team was felicitated with the Honorable Mention for Eric E. Bergsten Award for the Best Team Orals, and also the Honorable Mention for Pieter Sanders Award for the Best Written Memorandum for Claimant.

Apart from NLUO, the University of Ottawa, Bucerius Law School, and the Singapore Management University also made it to the top rounds. The Bucerius Law School was declared as the winner of the 2021 Rounds.
