Bar & Bench

The Kerala Legal Services Authority, in conjunction with SAMA, is organising an online lok adalat on October 17, for which it requires case managers.

Students in the second, third, fourth, and fifth years of the five-year undergraduate law degree programme, and practising advocates have been invited to apply for the position.

Applicants are expected to be fluent in English and Malayalam and possess a laptop with internet.

The month-long commitment is expected to commence on September 20, 2020.

Call for Case Managers

Around fifty case manager positions will be allotted to applicants on a first-come-first-serve-basis, SAMA has stated. Applicants may apply for the positions by September 12, 2020.

According to the brochure released by SAMA, the role would require the Case Manager to coordinate between judges and litigants in matters involving loans, family dispute, Motor Accident Claims, Cheque Bounce cases and the like.

Case Managers will be provided with experience certificates at the end of the engagement.

Applications along with résumés may be mailed to rohit@indianmediationweek.com or by filling this form.
