Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Institution of National Importance (INI), is looking to hire an Assistant Professor (Research) and a Research Officer on a contractual basis in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Assistant Professor (Research)

  • Domain: International law

  • Essential qualifications: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point- scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

    and

    Minimum of 03 publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals.

  • PQE: 3 years of teaching/ research experience in equivalent cadre or relevant filed in any Government/Private or relevant Institute/Research institute

  • Desirable qualifications: National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC. Papers presented/published at Conferences and/or in reference journals. Ability to meet the timelines, prepare reports, papers on various assignments. Good knowledge of MS Office. Ability to prepare reports/ papers on various assignments.

  • Remuneration (monthly): ₹77,000/- to ₹ 87,000/-

Key responsibilities

  • Papers presented/published at conferences and/or in reference journals.

  • Ability to meet the timelines, prepare reports, papers on various assignments.

  • To prepare reports/ papers on various assignments.

  • Work in relevant teaching, research and consultancy projects.

  • To come up with innovative outreach projects(in relevant filed).

  • To compile and publish newsletters, reports on wounding frame

    issues etc.

  • Organizing and conduct of co-curricular activities with

    students like study tour, sports, cultural activities, NCC, etc.

  • Planning and organization of certificate course, diploma courses, short customize.

  • Training programs, conferences, workshops and research

    work.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the University/School authorities pan-India and outside India.

Research Officer

  • Domain: International law

  • Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in the relevant subject or any allied field related to above mentioned domains with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grade system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

    and

    Minimum of 01 publicationsin the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals

  • PQE: 1 year of teaching/ research experience in equivalent cadre or relevant filed in any Government/Private or relevant Institute/Research institute

  • Desirable qualifications: National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC. Papers presented/published at Conferences and/or in reference journals. Ability to meet the timelines, prepare reports, papers on various assignments. Good knowledge of MS Office. Ability to prepare reports/ papers on various assignments.

  • Remuneration (monthly): ₹56,000/-

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct interdisciplinary research in the relevant areas.

  • Provide research, training and extension assistance to the University.

  • Scientifically analyze, visualize and interpret research data and prepare reports.

  • Training programs, conferences, workshops and research work.

  • Prepare prediction model based on data science tools for the better future decisions.

  • Maintain confidentiality pertaining to all university information and

    comply with data protection legislation.

  • Develop, plan, execute, monitor and report interdisciplinary research in collaboration with external universities, institutions, government

    departments, industrial and economic agencies, judiciary within India and abroad.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the University/School

    authorities in India and outside.
