The Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law is organising a Senior Executive Leadership Programme on Arbitration, Mediation and Legal Leadership in London and Cambridge.
The programme is being organised in collaboration with the Queen Mary University of London, Gatehouse Chambers, London and UK-India Legal Partnership (UKILP).
This four-day program, held from June 30 to July 3, 2025, is designed to equip senior legal professionals to lead in international dispute resolution.
Dispute resolution today extends beyond borders, with arbitration and mediation being key to managing cross-border legal challenges effectively and diplomatically.
With the Bar Council of India (BCI) now allowing foreign law firms and lawyers to practice foreign law in India, legal professionals must be equipped with technical excellence, leadership skills, and global exposure.

Programme Structure
Day 1
Session: Certificate Course on Arbitration and Leadership Among Lawyers will be led by Professor of Practice, Queen Mary University of London, Nigel Spencer and Fellow Queen Mary University, King's Counsel and Arbitrators at the Victorian Bar, Paul Hayes KC.
The Session will be held at Queen Mary, University of London and will be followed by a Gala Dinner.
Day 2
Session: Certificate in mediation
Legal educator, mediator, and conflict resolution specialist, Dr David Smith, and Barrister, Gatehouse Chambers, Laura Tweedy will focus on commercial dispute resolution, particularly in arbitration and mediation.
The Session will be held at the firm Gatehouse Chambers and will be followed by a Networking Social with tea and snacks being served.
Day 3
Excursion to the iconic university town, Cambridge and colleges King's, Trinity, and St John's alongside tranquil riverbanks and cobblestone lanes steeped in centuries of legacy. Meet with prominent academicians at Cambridge.
Day 4
Visit to the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and gain behind-the-scenes insight into administration and enforcement of cross-border arbitrations.
The visit is a rare opportunity to engage with arbitration professionals, deepening understanding of institutional processes, global standards, and understanding the present and future of international legal practice.
