The Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre (SADRC) at Faculty of Law, SGT University, Gurugram and the Centre for Panchayati Raj has announced the 1st edition of Dr Lalit Bhasin International Mediation Competition, 2026, themed 'Panchayat Samadhan: Grassroots Justice & Harmony'.

This competition is an academic initiative aimed at strengthening mediation advocacy with contemporary ADR principles.

The competition focuses on community-centric dispute resolution inspired by the Panchayat system, reformed through constitutional values, neutrality, gender sensitivity, and modern mediation ethics.

Registration Fee

  • Without Accommodation: ₹3,000 per team

  • With Accommodation: ₹4,000 per team

  • International Teams: USD 50

  • Winner: ₹50,000 + Trophy + Certificate

  • Runner-Up: ₹25,000 + Trophy + Certificate

  • Best Mediator: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificate

  • Best Client: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificate
