Faculty of Law, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University in collaboration with the Ranka Pubic Charitable Trust, is organising an international trial advocacy competition to foster clinical legal education and professional excellence among young legal minds.

Being an offline competition, participants will develop trial advocacy skills through mock criminal court simulations. The 3rd SGT Trial Advocacy Competition will simulate real trial procedures into a shorter format in order to conduct opening and closing statements, witness examination, and integrate advocacy strategies.

Timeline

Registration deadline: February 15, 2026

Memorial submission deadline: March 6, 2026

Competition: March 13-15, 2026.

Registration fee: ₹5000 per team (with accomodation)| ₹3000 per team (without accomodation)

Prizes

  • Winner: ₹1,00,000 + Trophy + Certificate

  • Runner Up: ₹50,000 + Trophy + Certificate

  • Best Witness/ Memorial/ Researcher/ Advocate: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificate
