TNDALU wins Ninth Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2022

Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University emerged as winner of the 9th Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot (IMAM) Court Competition 2022 organized by National Law University Odisha, which was held from 24 March to 27 March, 2022.

The Team 926 representing TNDALU comprised of Swetha Suresh, Tanvi Kankaria, Sonu Mehtha.

Apart winning the moot, Sonu Mehtha was awarded the Best Speaker of the Competition.

The moot dealt with a case study drafted by professors of the Swansea University, UK which was sponsored by the Singapore Chambers of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) & Bose & Mitra & Co. Mumbai.

The moot organized by the National Law University -Odisha (NLUO), and the case study revolved around International Maritime Law and technicalities of Hague Rules, SCMA arbitration and much more.

This team's victorious journey begun when their written submissions were chosen in the top 20 memorials out of 96 teams. After which, they emerged unbeatable in the 4 preliminary rounds, and went until the finals.
