ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Adv. Saurabh Bagaria (Advocate, Calcutta High Court)
Mr. Bagaria completed his LL.B. from the University of Pune post which he pursued his LL.M from the University of Warwick specializing in International Economic Laws. He was awarded the “Southeast Asian Scholarship” from the University of Warwick to pursue his LL.M. course. After having completed his legal education he started his legal practice in Kolkata.
His areas of practice have predominantly been tax and allied laws including income tax, transfer pricing, GST, excise, customs, service tax, anti-dumping to name a few. Over the years he has been able to achieve considerable market outreach with clients both from the private as well as the public sector. He is also a regular panellist in the Union Budget discussions at various forums and several cases argued by him have been reported in leading law reports throughout the country. He has authored a Legal Fiction Book “Money Gone” – A Thriller.
