3Sixty Law Group has announced the merger of Akshat Hansaria's practice into the firm and his joining as Partner and Head – Dispute Resolution.
Hansaria will lead the Dispute Resolution vertical and set its direction, anchoring the firm’s contentious practice, spanning commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency and appellate advocacy.
He has built his reputation in the courtroom over the last twenty years, and went on to build his own practice on it. He appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal and Arbitral Tribunals, representing corporate clients in complex, high-value commercial disputes.
Before establishing his independent practice, he co-headed the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practice at Svarniti Law Offices, and earlier served as a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at P&A Law Offices.
An alumnus of Amity Law School, New Delhi, he holds LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Welcoming Hansaria to the firm, Nishant Nigam, Founding and Managing Partner, said,
“3Sixty Law Group was founded on a simple conviction: clients deserve counsel that sees the whole picture, from the law and the business to what lies ahead. Akshat embodies that philosophy. He has spent years arguing difficult matters before courts across the country, and he brings a measured, pragmatic approach that clients instinctively trust. His arrival strengthens our litigation management capability and allows us to stand beside our clients at every stage of a dispute, from the first notice to the final word. I am delighted to welcome him.”
Reflecting on the move, Hansaria said,
“Running my own practice taught me how deeply clients value an advocate who walks every step of a dispute alongside them. 3Sixty Law Group offers a platform built to amplify exactly that approach, shaped by Nishant’s vision of a firm that is invested in the client’s business, not merely the case before it. Now with 3Sixty Law, being a multidisciplinary platform spanning India and the UAE, my clients get access to a broader team across corporate, regulatory, intellectual property and employment matters, while they continue to work with the people they already know and trust. I look forward to all that we will build together.”
Bithika Anand (Founder & Managing Director, Legal League Consulting, and Founder & CEO, Human Elevation), Nipun K Bhatiaa (CEO, Legal League Consulting), and Rabab F. Rizvi (Partner, Human Elevation) facilitated the merger.
