Adil Hussain moves from Baker McKenzie to Hogan Lovells Cadwalader

Hussain advises on conventional, Shariah-compliant, and multi-sourced financing matters across the Middle East and internationally.

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has strengthened its Banking & Loan Finance practice in the Middle East with the hire of Adil Hussain, who joins the firm's Dubai office from Baker McKenzie.

Hussain advises on conventional, Shariah-compliant, and multi-sourced financing matters across the Middle East and internationally. He has been involved in a number of market-leading financing transactions and has advised on the structuring and development of several innovative financing products in the region. Having worked across the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, he has built extensive regional experience and is regularly recognized by leading legal directories for his banking and finance expertise, particularly in Islamic finance. He advises a broad range of international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market participants on sophisticated financing transactions.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, Hussain served as the Global Head of Islamic Finance at Baker McKenzie and led the firm's Banking & Finance practice in the Middle East.
