Anirudh Mukherjee joins Kochhar & Co as Partner in Employment and Corporate practice

Mukherjee will be working out of the firm's Gurgaon office.

Anirudh Mukherjee has joined Kochhar & Co as a Partner in Employment and Corporate Practice at the firm's Gurgaon office.

Mukherjee is a 2007 graduate of Symbiosis International University.

Mukherjee brings over 16 years of specialized experience advising both multinational and domestic clients on various contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. He also provides counsel on general corporate legal issues as part of his broader commercial law advisory practice.

He has been instrumental in developing and implementing codes of conduct and related employment policies for a spectrum of clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. With his multifaceted and cross-sectorial experience driving complex commercial transactions and restructurings, Mukherjee brings deep domain knowledge and understanding of businesses into providing pragmatic and commercially driven legal solutions to clients.

Prior to joining Kochhar & Co, Anirudh was a Senior Director in Lumiere Law Partners, an independent member firm of the EY Law network, where he successfully headed the network’s India employment law practice.

On the recent appointment, Rohit Kochhar, Founding Member & Managing Partner of the Firm, remarked,
