CMS IndusLaw long-time Partner Saurav Kumar is joining Argus Partners as a Senior Partner in the firm's Corporate & M&A Practice and as Head of the Japan and South Korea Desk.
Swathi Sreenath is also joining as a Partner in the Corporate and M&A Practice and will be an integral part of the firm's Japan and South Korea Desk.
Kumar and Sreenath will be joined by their entire team and will be based out of the firm's New Delhi office.

Kumar has over two decades of experience, with a practice spanning mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, private equity investment, joint ventures and corporate governance. He has advised multinationals, Indian public and private companies, funds and consulting firms on structuring complex inbound, outbound, domestic and cross-border transactions across a wide range of sectors. In addition to Japan and South Korea, Saurav has represented clients across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Singapore.
Sreenath has over 10 years of experience and focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic and financial investments, joint ventures, business restructurings, and compliance reviews, as well as a wide array of corporate and commercial matters. She has advised clients across a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, e-commerce, information technology, services, fintech, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals. She has represented clients across multiple jurisdictions, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, France, Germany, UAE, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
