Arjun Uppal has joined UAE-based KARM Legal Consultants as an Of Counsel in the firm's FinTech team.

Uppal is a 2012 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune.

With over 12 years of experience, Uppal is an expert in the Fintech space. He assists multinational clients on structuring electronic payment methods and digital offerings as well as advises on data privacy and protection and gaming laws.

Prior to joining KARM, Uppal was associated with AZB & Partners, where he held the position of a Partner for nearly 2 years.

On his move, Uppal shared,

"This move followed a relocation internationally, and I have shifted my professional base to the United Arab Emirates, from India. I have joined KARM Legal Consultants, with the firm's FinTech team. In my journey as a corporate lawyer, 'FinTech' remains constant and I am committed to the field, along with the foray into the 'data protection' and 'gaming' space."
