AZB & Partners has promoted Jeet Chaudhuri, Ramya Suresh and Shivanand Nayak to partnership at the Mumbai office, with effect from October 1, 2022.

Chaudhuri is a 2013 graduate of West Bengal National Academy of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. Prior to joining the firm in October 2018, Chaudhuri was with Trilegal for over 5 years. He has been with the firm for over 4 years before being elevated to partnership in the Corporate/M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital practice.

Suresh is a 2011 graduate of Amity Law School and is a Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has previously worked with leading firms like Trilegal and DSK Legal prior to joining the firm in July 2022 as a Counsel. Suresh is part of the Corporate/M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital practice at the firm.

Nayak is a 2012 graduate from the University of Mumbai and has previously worked with Wadia Ghandy & Co before joining the firm in November 2014. He has worked with the firm for 8 years before being promoted to partnership at the Banking & Finance team of the firm.
