[Breaking] AZB Senior Partner Gautam Saha resigns

Gautam Saha is leaving the firm along with most of his team members.

AZB & Partners Delhi Senior Partner Gautam Saha is leaving the firm after spending almost 19 years at the firm.

It is understood that most of Saha's team members are also moving out with him.

Confirming the development AZB Managing Partner Ajay Bahl said,

”Gautam and many others who may choose to leave are like family to me. I wish them the very best in whatever they do next.”

Saha is leaving the firm after spending almost 19 years at AZB. He joined the firm in 2004. He has previously also worked at Amarchand Mangaldas.

He is 1999 graduate of NLSIU, Bangalore. Saha also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from Queens College, University of Oxford and is qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.

His practice areas include Banking & Finance, Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Restructuring & Insolvency.

Recently, Gautam Saha and his team has been advising Sequoia on the Algo Legal fiasco.
