Cashfree has promoted Abhisikta Niyogi to the position of Associate Director - Regulatory Compliance & Policy.

Niyogi is a 2016 graduate of Osmania University

Niyogi has considerable experience as an in-house counsel, having worked at leading organisations such as Amazon, H&M and Flipkart.

At Cashfree she leads the regulatory compliance efforts and serve as the RBI Nodal Officer, with a focus on policy advocacy and regulatory engagement. Her role involves developing end-to-end compliance frameworks, managing RBI audits, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.

She also provides strategic guidance on regulatory and policy developments, advising business teams on compliance implications. She also leads the compliance charter for new product and business initiatives—including PA, PG, Cross-border Payments, UPI, BBPOU, and PPI—to ensure alignment with RBI, NPCI, PMLA, KYC, and PSSA regulations.
