Equilex has onboarded Chiraagdeep Singh Dhillon as a Partner to head the Firm's Banking & Finance practice

Dhillon is a 2010 graduate of Punjabi University.

He has over 16 years of experience spanning ICICI Bank and Anglo American. While in these organisations, he has worked for Banking and Finance issues across APAC, EMEA, the UK and the US. He has especially developed experience in regulatory matters (across the above mentioned jurisdictions), structured and trade finance, bond issuances, and derivative documentation. His previous roles have also allowed him to provide detailed advisory on AML, sanctions and data privacy issues across markets, including the financial sector.

On Dhillon's joining, Deep Roy, Founding & Managing Partner, Equilex, said,

"Chiraag is an old friend who will help augment and steer the financial services practice of the firm. Equilex believes in facilitating solutions and ensuring that each delivery has a meaningful value add. The quality and knowledge base of Chiraag will help achieve such objective. We welcome Chiraag to the Equilex family."

Dhillon himself shared,

"I am excited to be part of Equilex at this stage of its growth. After over a decade in Singapore, coming back to India to build something of my own, in a market I know extensively with a partner in Deep and a platform like Equilex, felt right for me. I get to bring my experiences and expertise from global institutions on the buy and sell side to the advisory side. I’m here to build, not just a robust Banking and Finance practice but Equilex's broader vision."
