Christopher Manoharan and Ramasamy Santhanakrishnan have joined the Chennai office of Kochhar & Co as Partners at the firm's Corporate and Disputes practices respectively.
Manoharan is a 1994 graduate of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore.
He has joined the firm as a Senior Partner at the Chennai Office. Manoharan specialises in corporate commercial transactions, venture capital and private equity transactions, joint ventures, trademark litigation and raid execution, large IT outsourcing deals, licensing agreements, commercial real estate, employment law, and government policy. He has had substantial experience handling early-stage investments in venture funding and private equity, in joint ventures and technical collaborations. Additionally, he has also advised and successfully represented clients before the NCLT and the NCLAT, Chennai.
Santhanakrishnan is a 2011 graduate of the ILS Law College, Pune.
He has joined the Firm as a Partner and will be focusing on Corporate Compliance and Advisory, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Insolvency and Intellectual Property Laws. With more than a decade of professional experience, Santhakrishnan has represented top MNCs, blue-chip IT Companies, automotive makers and several other companies before the Madras High Court, Bombay High Court and various other forums in matters of civil litigation, consumer protection, debt recovery litigation, employment matters, sexual harassment claims, intellectual property disputes, along with arbitrations.
