Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas promotes 5 lawyers to Partnership

The firm has made four Partners from their Corporate practice and one Partner from its Disputes practice.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has elevated five lawyers to its Partnership, effective from September 1, 2026.

The following lawyers have been made Partner:

  • Bipluv Jhingan, Taxation, Mumbai | Jhingan specialises in international and corporate tax advisory, with particular expertise in cross-border structuring, treaty interpretation, permanent establishment issues, M&A tax, digital asset taxation, and tax controversy.

  • Thangadurai V.P, Taxation, Delhi-NCR | Thangadurai specialises in direct tax litigation, M&A tax advisory and direct tax advisory & opinions.

  • Diptayon Basu, Real Estate, Bengaluru | Basu advises leading developers, PE Funds, institutional asset owners, GCCs and data centre operators on transaction structuring and documentation in relation to large real estate acquisitions, joint development and leasing.

  • Manjul Mantri, Real Estate, Delhi-NCR | Mistri is a pan-India real estate lawyer advising on-shore and off -shore infrastructure companies, developers, investors, funds, financial institutions across India.

  • Nidhi Asher, Dispute Resolution, Mumbai | Asher has developed a focused practice in cross-border sanctions work, international and domestic arbitrations, and complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in shareholder disputes, infrastructure and construction projects.
