DSK Legal strengthens Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practices

The firm has onboarded three new Associate Partners.

DSK Legal has announced the appointment of Gauri Jagtap and Meghana Joshi as Associate Partners in its Real Estate practice, and Khushbu Chhajed as an Associate Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, where she will focus on real estate disputes.

Jagtap has more than 14 years of experience in real estate law. Her practice includes real estate regulatory matters, transaction structuring, acquisitions, due diligence, commercial real estate transactions, and redevelopment projects. Jagtap has completed her LLB from University of Mumbai and a Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) in Finance. Prior to joining DSK Legal, she was with Dhaval Vussonji and had earlier been a member of the real estate team at King Stubb & Kasiva.

Joshi has more than 15 years of experience in real estate law. Her practice focuses on due diligence and title verification for agricultural and non-agricultural land parcels across Maharashtra, including land acquisitions for township projects. She also advises on commercial leasing and transactions involving the sale, purchase, acquisition, and development of flats and land parcels. She has particular experience with land matters involving MIDC, MHADA, SRA, and MCGM.

Joshi holds an LLB degree from University of Mumbai. Prior to joining DSK Legal, she was with Lexicon Law Partners.

Chhajed brings 12 years of experience in dispute resolution, with expertise spanning maritime law, infrastructure disputes, project finance claims, and commercial arbitration. She has represented clients before domestic and international arbitral tribunals in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, including proceedings under the ICC, LCIA, LMAA, and SIAC rules. She has also advised on the enforcement of domestic and international arbitral awards before the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India. At DSK Legal, she will focus on real estate disputes within the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice.

Chhajed holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Commercial Laws from the University of Manchester. Prior to joining DSK Legal, she was with MDP Legal, Advocates & Solicitors, Mumbai.
