ELP Partner Aakanksha Joshi has joined S&R Associates as a Partner in Projects and Infrastructure practice at the firm's Mumbai office.

Joshi is a 2007 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai. She is qualified in India and is a Solicitor with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.

Joshi’s practice focuses on the projects, infrastructure, and energy sectors. She advises clients on the regulatory framework relating to investments in infrastructure projects, bidding process and bid documents; concession agreements, engineering, procurement, and construction contracts; supply contracts; consultancy contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, power purchase agreements, and off-take agreements.

She also advises hospitality clients on acquisitions, franchising and management of hotels, restaurants and other hospitality related businesses.

Prior to joining S&R Associates, Joshi was associated with Economic Laws Practice for over 15 years, holding the position of a Partner for 8 years.
