He now joins Managing Partner Shwetasree Majumder, Tanya Varma, Diva Arora and Vishal Vig at the partnership of the firm.

The firm also announced a spate of promotions recently. In the Trademarks team, Shreya Ganguly was promoted as Managing Associate, while Dikshita Pemmaraju and Ashmeen Kaur were promoted as Senior Associates. In the Litigation team, Vasundhara Majithia was promoted as Senior Associate and Devyani Nath was hired as a Senior Associate from Anand and Anand.

Fidus Law Chambers was recently awarded the International Trademark Association (INTA) Members for a Better Society Award for community intervention during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Delhi riots, and the Amphan cyclone in Eastern India. They reached groceries and essentials to more than 27,000 people, rebuilt homes, rehabilitated people who were out of jobs, provided legal aid, and helped send children back to school.

Speaking about these initiatives, Majumder said in a press release,

“Working together as a team on this helped many of us battle the isolation and uncertainty during the time of lockdown with a collective sense of purpose. The firm’s continuing efforts resulted in the setting up of a formal charity that was named ProFidus, in the latter half of the year.”
