Former Director and Senior Counsel at Netflix Priyanka Chaudhari sets up her independent practice under the banner of Priyanka Chaudhari & Associates (PCA).

Chaudhari is a graduate of University of Mumbai and has over 14 years of experience across practice areas.

Prior to her stint at Netflix, Chaudhari was with Balaji Telefilms as their Vice President and Legal Head. She has been an in-house counsel for other prominent businesses like ALTBalaji, Balaji Motion Pictures, Zee Entertainment, Star India, Bharti AXA and has also worked with several solicitor law firms that specialized in corporate commercial, real estate & dispute resolution areas of practice.

Writing to Bar & Bench on what inspired her to start independent practice, Chaudhary said,

"The hybrid work experience I have gained over the past 15 years working as both, a legal counsel of a company collaborating as a client with a law firm and a law firm servicing a client company with all kinds of transactional and litigation work made me realise that now would be a perfect time for me to venture out independently with my own legal practise. This 360 degree experience has helped me gain diverse skill sets in various areas of law and a deeper & robust understanding of how different businesses, especially the business of media & entertainment operates locally and globally."
