IC RegFin Legal announced the opening of its second office in Mumbai at Fort, further strengthening its presence in one of India’s most significant financial and legal districts.
Located in the heart of South Mumbai, the new office is situated within a heritage building in the historic Fort precinct, surrounded by some of the city’s most prominent financial and institutional landmarks, including the Bombay High Court, RBI and BSE.
The Fort office complements IC RegFin Legal’s existing Mumbai headquarters at Times Square Building, Andheri, strategically situated in close proximity to Mumbai’s international airport and prominent business centres.
Spread across a state-of-the-art space of over 24,000 sq. ft., the Andheri office provides a substantial base for the firm’s Mumbai operations and growing team.
The new Fort office currently houses a 15-member litigation team, including three Partners, with the office infrastructure designed to accommodate up to 35 professionals. The team brings extensive experience across a broad spectrum of matters, representing clients before courts, regulatory authorities, appellate tribunals including - NCLT, NCLAT and SAT, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
The Mumbai expansion follows IC RegFin Legal’s recent announcements of its new offices in Delhi and GIFT City, Gandhinagar, marking the third office expansion announced by the firm in recent months.
Speaking on the development, Tejesh Chitlangi, Managing Partner, IC RegFin Legal, said,
“This expansion marks another important milestone in IC RegFin Legal’s growth journey. Our existing Mumbai Andheri office has been instrumental in building a strong financial services and regulatory practice over the years, and our new Fort office represents a natural progression in broadening our capabilities and strengthening our full-service offering. With two strategically located offices in Mumbai, we are better positioned to serve our clients across an increasingly diverse range of legal and commercial matters. More importantly, this expansion reflects our larger ambition of building a truly integrated, institutionally strong, full-service law firm with a formidable pan-India presence.”
Tejas Agarwal, Partner leading the firm’s Litigation Practice, added,
“Our vision for the Fort office is to build a leading litigation and dispute resolution practice that combines deep legal expertise, strategic thinking and a strong understanding of our clients’ commercial objectives. With a talented team of experienced litigators and the strength of the firm’s multidisciplinary platform, we aim to deliver sophisticated, solution-oriented representation across the full spectrum of disputes and forums.”
