IIFL Finance Head - Litigation Jigar Patel has transitioned to the position of Head - Corporate Legal.

Patel has been associated with IIFL Finance for the past couple years, having worked as the Head - Litigation, leading litigation and transactions for IIFL’s Commercial Real Estate Group, with a cross-functional role spanning dispute resolution, strategic funding, regulatory compliance, and recovery.

Patel has over a decade of experience across NBFCs, ARCs, and law firms, leading high-value litigation, funding transactions, and complex restructuring mandates. He specialises in IBC, SARFAESI, real estate/project finance, white-collar crime, debt restructuring, and legal strategy.

His previous experience includes legal leadership roles at Areion Group, Piramal Finance and Pegasus ARC.
