IndusLaw Partner Ravi Kumar has joined Ramanathan & Vahanvati (R&V) as a Partner.

Kumar is a 2002 graduate of National Law School of India, Bangalore.

With extensive experience spanning more than 22 years, Kumar focuses on public and private M&A transactions, private equity and advising on Indian securities regulations, especially the Indian Takeover Code and the Delisting Regulations.

He is a specialist in buy-out M&A transactions (both buy and sell side) for both listed and unlisted companies, across various sectors. He regularly advises Indian conglomerates and their sponsors on their growth and asset monetization strategies, regulatory issues, corporate governance and board advisory.

Prior to joining R&V, Kumar was a Partner at IndusLaw.

He also had a long stint as a Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and worked in-house with private equity funds, GE Corporate Finance and Avenue Capital India.

R&V, a boutique law firm, was set up in 2021 by former AZB Partners Ashwin Ramanathan and Essaji Vahanvati.
