Jay Maroli has been appointed as General Counsel of General Electric's sustainable energy wing GE Vernova.

Maroli is a technology, privacy, and intellectual property (IP) lawyer with over two decades of experience. He has worked as a private practitioner representing multinational corporations and as an in-house lawyer at companies such as Himalaya Wellness, Flipkart, Amazon and GE Aerospace.

In his role with the General Electric Company, he worked extensively on aerospace technologies, public and private partnerships on additive manufacturing, defence transactions and joint IP development with top academics in India and abroad. He has also worked as a Data Privacy Officer for the GE Aerospace R&D Centre in Bangalore.
