Lall & Sethi has announced the appointment of Jyotideep Kaur as the new Managing Partner of the firm effective September 18, 2023.

With over 17 years of dedicated service at the firm, Kaur's practice focuses on overall IP prosecution and enforcement for both domestic and international clients. She specializes in portfolio management and enforcement strategies, anti-counterfeiting actions and other legal issues arising thereto. She serves as a counsel for a wide range of clients ranging from alcoholic beverages major, leading confectionery companies, FMCGs, pharmaceutical giants etc.

She has significant expertise in firm management, which makes her the perfect choice for the role of Managing Partner of the Firm. In her inaugural address, she expressed her goal of leading the firm to greater heights through teamwork, expansion and innovation, as per the press statement

Jyoti has taken over the leadership role from Tia Malik who completed her successful tenure in September 2023. The firm expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Malik for her outstanding leadership during her tenure as Managing Partner. 

The announcement of Kaur's appointment as Managing Partner was made by Chander Lall, the firm's Founder and Senior Advocate, who also congratulated Malik for her successful leadership and wished Kaur well for her future plans.
