In the aftermath of the parting of ways of its two head partners, L&L Partners is looking to expand the physical space of its Mumbai office.

The firm will now occupy the entire 20th floor of the Indiabulls building in Lower Parel.

Sources reveal that the firm is awaiting clarity on when it can re-open its office, subject to the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The firm is looking to finalise lateral partner hires, and is also considering adding new practice areas.

Bonuses and increments for existing lawyers for financial years 2019-2020 and 2020-21 are also on the horizon.

The firm recently welcomed Abhishek Mathur back into its fold.

Avinash Subramanian recently quit the firm to join AZB & Partners. In May this year, Dua Associates Partner Kunal Mehra joined the firm as a Partner in Delhi.
