Indraneel Basu Majumdar has joined KPMG UK as Director (Legal) in the Financial Services team.

Majumdar is a 2001 graduate of National Law School of India University. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002 and further earned his MBA from Warwick Business School in 2012.

With over two decades of experience, Majumdar specialises in financial services and banking law across both India and the UK.

At KPMG, he will be focusing on payment services, digital assets and financial services regulatory.

Prior to joining KPMG, Majumdar worked with Harper James as a Senior Financial Services Solicitor for a year and prior to that, he held the position of Executive Director (Legal) at JP Morgan for nearly 12 years.
