S Rohit Kumar has joined Trilegal as a Counsel in the firm's Tax practice.

Kumar is a graduate of the Loyola College/University of Madras. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant.

He specialises in taxation of mergers and acquisitions, international tax and corporate tax. He has extensive experience in providing comprehensive tax advice in connection with various types of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Trilegal, he was associated with Deloitte for 17 years, where he held the position of Director for 14 years. He was involved in the structuring of inbound and outbound transactions, group restructuring of large conglomerates, succession planning and promoter earnout structuring in a range of industries and sectors.

With Kumar’s addition, Trilegal will further deepen its expertise in the M&A space.
