Ankita Kumar has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner with her team in the Corporate Practice focusing on Aviation, Aerospace, and Defence sectors at the New Delhi office.
Kumar is a 2008 alumna of NALSAR, Hyderabad.
She advises clients across the civil and general aviation, advanced air mobility, NewSpace and defence sectors on a broad range of regulatory, transactional and strategic matters, including several high-value and cross-border mandates. Her experience spans both leading law firms and several years as part of the in-house legal team at IndiGo Airlines. Her work includes aircraft acquisition and leasing, financing transactions, M&A and joint ventures, airport development and operations, defence procurement, manufacturing and supply-chain arrangements, and sector-specific policy and compliance issues.
Prior to joining CAM, Kumar was associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co for four and a half years.
