He has almost ten years of dispute resolution experience across New Delhi and London. His practice covers commercial, construction, insolvency and civil disputes, along with arbitration-related court proceedings for interim measures, setting aside and enforcement of awards. He has acted for companies and multinational corporations across the aviation, energy, infrastructure and hospitality sectors, and appears before the Delhi High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, as well as arbitral tribunals in India and abroad. He has also worked on arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules.
Prior to joining Triumvir Law, Mago was Counsel at Unum Law. He began his career at the Offices of Ashish Mohan, handling commercial litigation and arbitration, and later joined the Chambers of Sandeep Sethi, Senior Advocate, as Counsel. He later spent time with Three Crowns LLP in London, a firm dedicated to international arbitration.
Commenting on the development, Anubhab Sarkar, Managing Partner, Triumvir Law, said,
"I have known Akshit since the formative years of his professional journey, and he has certainly carved out a space for himself in Delhi's disputes circle. His body of work is varied and credible, which further strengthens our vision for building our practice in Delhi. Having watched him take on briefs over the years, I know the seriousness he brings to a matter and the way he carries a client through it. We are glad to have Akshit with us. Boutique firms may be having their moment, but Triumvir isn't riding that wave. We have spent the better part of a decade building this brand on its own terms, and Delhi is where we take it to its next stage."
