Head Legal of Premji Invest Vardaan Ahluwalia has been appointed as General Counsel at the Company.

Ahluwalia is a 2009 graduate of WBNUJS. He earned his MSc. in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford in 2021.

He specializes in private capital, investments, banking, fintech, stressed acquisitions, and regulatory finance law as well as corporate valuation, and impact investing, with sector expertise in fintech, and financial institutions.

He has been associated with Premji Invest for nearly the past 3 years, where his responsibilities include structuring, negotiating and managing transactions across practice areas, including equity and debt investments in public and private markets; providing legal advice to the investment and finance team at the fund; assisting with corporate governance and risk management; and supervision and management of the legal team and external counsel mandates.

Prior to his role at Premji Invest, Ahluwalia was an Advisor at Ashurst Fintech Legal Labs. He has previously also held the position of a Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
