Veritas Legal inducts three Partners into Equity Partnership; two to partnership

All three Equity Partners have been associated with the firm since its inception in 2015.

Veritas Legal has inducted its Partners Tushar Raut, Kunal Doshi, and Vineet Nalawalla into the firm's Equity Partnership.

Jhinook Roy and Shubhangi Pathak get inducted to the firm's partnership.

Raut is a graduate of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

With over 14 years of experience, he specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital investments with a keen focus on pharma, e-commerce, technology and manufacturing activities.

He is a part of the General Corporate and M&A practice of the Firm and has been with the Firm since its inception in 2015.

Doshi is a 2008 graduate of the Government Law College.

With over 14 years of experience, he specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital, General Corporate Advisory and Private Client matters with a focus on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

He is a part of the M&A and PE practice of the Firm and also handles hospitality and private client matters. He has been with the Firm since beginning in 2015.

Nalawalla is a 2008 graduate of the Government Law College.

With over 14 years of experience, he heads the Real Estate department of the firm and also co-heads the Private Equity in Real Estate and Hotels and Hospitality practices.

He has been with the Firm since its inception in 2015.

Jhinook Roy, Shubhangi Pathak

Pathak is is a 2007 law graduate from NALSAR, Hyderabad with a BCL degree from Oxford, UK.

She was a partner at Tuli & Co, where she advised on a range of corporate and regulatory matters in the insurance sector. Prior to that she was with Amarchand Mangaldas, where she was part of the general corporate practice and advised on a variety of M&A and PE transactions and employment law matters.

Roy is a 2013 graduate of ILS Law College Pune and leads the Finance & Infrastructure practices at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Counsel at Khaitan & Co.

She handles a wide range of matters in the banking and finance arena, regularly representing borrowers, sponsors and lenders across sectors. She also has expertise in advising domestic and international clients on projects and infrastructure matters including acquisitions, project development, project contracting, PPP, regulatory issues and exits.
