Abhilash Raghavan, former General Counsel of Verizon India, has launched Aby Law Offices, a Bengaluru-based full-service firm with a focus on fractional General Counsel services.

The firm will advise Indian and international businesses, from start-ups and family enterprises to large conglomerates. Its lawyers come from both in-house legal teams and law firms.

Raghavan has over two decades of experience across litigation, corporate and commercial advisory, transactions, compliance and in-house legal leadership. His work spans M&A, contracts, regulatory compliance, employment and labour law, dispute resolution, governance, real estate, procurement and cross-border matters. He has managed external counsel across jurisdictions, on matters involving India, the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

At Verizon India, he headed the legal function and advised senior management and the Board. Before that, he held in-house roles at the Aditya Birla Group and Sasken Technologies. He began his career at the law firms Krishnamurthy & Co. and Vijayagopal & Associates.
