Vikash Jain has joined ReNew Power as Global General Counsel. He was previously working at Cairn Oil & Gas.

Jain is a 2002 law graduate from VSSD College, Kanpur and completed his Company Secretary course in 1999 from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

With over 26 years of work experience in varied roles and organizations, Jain has held leadership positions at reputed companies like Hindustan Oil Exploration Company, Jubilant Energy among others. He has also been Legal Counsel - Asia at Transocean.

Prior to joining ReNew Power as Global General Counsel, Jain was with Vedanta Resources Limited for over 6 years. He last served as Group General Counsel, Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Cairn Oil & Gas for over a year.

Jain will be working out of the company's Gurugram office.
