White & Brief has onboarded a three-partner team led by Rahul Dhote who joins the Firm as Head- IP, Technology and M&E.
He is joined by Varunraj Vinayak Limaye and Dr. Venkatesh Seshan, who would be handling the patent practice at the firm.
Dhote has represented leading multinational corporations, Indian conglomerates, emerging businesses and high-net-worth individuals, delivering commercially pragmatic and outcome-driven legal solutions. He has successfully led several landmark disputes and complex commercial transactions and has consistently been recognised among India's leading lawyers by prominent national and international legal publications.
Dhote was previously Equity Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property practice at ANM Global and had earlier co-founded a multi-service firm called "Literati Juris".
Limaye is a registered Indian Patent Agent and Advocate with over 16 years of experience across Indian and US patent law. He has represented clients before the Indian Patent Office and various High Courts and advises businesses across highly technical and regulated sectors, including pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, battery technology, medical devices, nanotechnology, nutraceuticals, polymers, food technology, personal care and cosmetics, metallurgy, catalysis and petrochemicals. He holds an MSc and an LLB and is a DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor.
Dr. Seshan is a Registered Patent Agent with over 11 years of experience in the Indian and European patent ecosystems. Having worked with one of Europe's oldest and leading intellectual property firms, he brings a global perspective to patent strategy, portfolio development, and innovation protection. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the Netherlands and a master's degree in Nanoscale Science from Sweden and Germany and his practice spans a wide range of technologies, including electronics, semiconductors, software, artificial intelligence (AI), telecommunications, battery technologies, medical devices, nanotechnology, cybersecurity, autonomous vehicle, and other emerging fields.
