Hira Power & Steels is forming a joint venture in Bhutan with Mr. Tenzing Yonten (who is a public figure in Bhutan) for manufacturing of Ferro-silicon & Ferro-Manganese, with the estimated project cost of ₹1,400 million.

Areete Law Offices represented Hira Power on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Amit Singhania (Partner) and Shubham Sharma (Associate).

Bhutan has recently opened its economy and invited foreign investment and allocated power to foreign players. With this joint venture, Hira Power is expected to expand its manufacturing capacity and also mark its footprints in Bhutan.
