Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys has onboarded Vinod Joseph as Partner in the Corporate and M&A team at Mumbai.

Joseph is an 1998 alumnus of National Law School of India University. He earned his LLM in Commercial and Corporate Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2003.

Joseph has over 27 years of comprehensive experience across corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment funds, banking, technology, data privacy and regulatory compliance.

His background spans high-value domestic and cross-border transactions across infrastructure, real estate, technology, and financial services sectors. He has worked with investment funds since 2007, but the last three years were solely focused on investment funds regulated by SEBI and IFSCA, developing specialized expertise in fund structuring and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Joseph has held leadership positions at leading Indian and international law firms and financial institutions, including Economic Laws Practice, Argus Partners, Global Infrastructure Partners, IDFC Alternatives, Brand Capital (Times Group), Reed Smith LLP, Lawrence Graham LLP, and Chambers of Zia Mody, among others.

At LKS, Joseph will focus on investment funds, SEBI and IFSCA regulated entities, SEBI licensing, private client advisory, trusts and wealth management structures and related corporate transactions.
